The Digital Vault is a personal project dedicated to preserving the look and feel of the early web. All pages are written in plain HTML 4.01 transitional, using tables, fonts, and inline attributes. No CSS, no JavaScript, no images – just content and structure.

DESCRIPTION
-----------
A static website that emulates the Web 1.0 experience. Every page is built
with basic HTML elements: <table>, <font>, <center>, and anchor tags.
The site contains a home page and an about page with this README.

INSTALLATION
------------
1. Download both HTML files: index.html and about.html.
2. Place them in the same directory.
3. Open index.html in any web browser.

USAGE
-----
- Navigate using the links in the header.
- The "home" link returns to the main page.
- The "about" link displays this information.
- All content is static and offline-ready.

CUSTOMIZATION
-------------
- Edit the text directly inside the HTML files.
- Change the background color by modifying the bgcolor attribute in the <body> tag.
- Add new pages by copying the table structure and updating the navigation links.

COMPATIBILITY
-------------
Works in all browsers, including Netscape Navigator 4, Internet Explorer 5,
and modern browsers in quirks mode.
